Well hello there!

Sorry, loyal followers, I don’t have much of a substantive update for you, but I’ve been thinking about this silly little blog a bit lately, and I thought I should update you.

Dylan, Juli, Imi and I went over to the house yesterday to pick up some paperwork – very exciting stuff: punch lists, floor plans, man oh man oh man. We discussed ideas and then sat on the back stoop and discussed patio/garden placements, etc. Its funny – thinking about this house, when I’m not in it, is the height of stressfulness, but whenever I’m in it, gutted and sad looking as it currently is, I get so excited.

Promise, before too long the progress will be insane and this blog will be updated many times a day! Promise promise!

Next step is to kill everything in the backyard. So that’s what you have to look forward to.

Musical Dumpsters

Last night, I discussed the situation of our latest dumpster with Imi.

Turns out it was a little over-full, so Imi said I should call the dumpster company for a new one and have them place it next to the old one.

I came up to the house tonight just as the driver was dropping one dumpster on the corner at Bogar. Then he hooked up and took the other dumpster (which he put a tarp over to protect the overflow, and didn’t charge me on because I’m such a loyal customer! woot woot!) Then he put that dumpster down next to Calvin and put the new dumpster in front of the house.

That was fun to watch. ;) The garage is just about completely removed from the backyard and Carl and Dylan will work inside the house tomorrow.

So exciting!

Update

I don’t want you guys thinking there’s nothing going on.

Because there’s stuff going on.

Clean-up. And gathering of paperwork in order to get more $, etc.

If you’re in the area, you should drive by and check out my awesome roof.

And I hope to get you more pictures and news soon.

That is all.

Thank you,

Day of Rest

Sunday’s were made for sleeping. Or cooking on the bogracs for the second time in as many days, enjoying potentially one of the last nicer Sundays of the year. We had a great day.

And didn’t even go to the house.

Ah well. :) Weather should hold till Thursday, at least!
